MMO RAPPELZ

Another MMO I really enjoyed, besides World of Warcraft, and Perfect World was the Rappelz MMO. Rappelz is a Korean MMO and was developed by the Nflavour team.

In the game you get to play as either on of the three races (Deva – The light, Asura – the darkness  and Gaia – humans. I started off playing as human when the game started out. I mean, this was before Perfect world around about three years ago when it was on open beta!

Every year or so a rather large patch was released which gave a whole bunch of new features and level caps, it quickly came really difficult to keep up with these huge updates and I wasn’t able to keep playing.

I really miss the game, It was fun, and the art work, which was similar to Lineage II was beautiful. It was repetitive at times; but aren’t all MMO’s in the end?

It had everything a run-of-the-mill MMO has, quests, tanks, priests, pvp and dungeons. The user interface as well as the inventory were both clean and easy to use.

The thing that set it apart were the job skills which you would earn killing creatures and use to buy developments in your skills.

Xbox Custom Stickers!

Why hello there everybody! Hope no one was an April's Fool!

Yesterday, in all my figurine and dvd excitement I completely forgot to tell you all what else I got! A little custom, homemade little design for my boyfriends xbox. It’s pretty awesome. We both designed it, taking the WWF Panda, giving it a skull like face along with a Full Metal alchemist logo on it’s head along with his screen name on top. We designed it in Corel Draw, vector-ized it and sent it off with my dad to get it printed on vinyl and then cut out (the machine did this all by itself!!).

Because it is Vinyl and a sticker all we need to do is peel it off and stick a new one on when we get tired of the old one! So I think it’s pretty cool for our first try. The possibilities are pretty endless. Here are some vectors that I found on Vecteezy (and they are free!) these ones are the ones I like the most. Wow, I think I’m gonna go sticker crazy and stick these things everywhere! Hehe

My stuff arrived!!!!

So, today was pretty eventful. My parents left for America this afternoon and will only be back at the end of April! There was utter chaos with my father forgetting where his passport was, not have been packed yet just as we were going to leave the airport and bills that he still needed to pay.

Before he left though, he brought home this plastic thing and called me. I went to see what it was and to my surprise, it was the stuff I ordered on Friday. It had arrived even though they only dispatched it yesterday!

Anyway, as soon as I saw it I started ripping open the package to inspect my goods. Once I saw they were all there I carried them to my room and started to open the individual packages. Scissors at hand I quickly tore/cut open all those pesky plastic boxes and started assembling my goodies.

So in total, I got my Fate/Stay night vol 1 Dvd, my Scrapped Princess Limited Edition Boxset 1 (which comes with a very beautiful and rather large Pacifica figurine), my Captain Cadaver and my Orion Princess Kushinata figurine. I literally squee’d with delight.

Now, I’ll do a review of each tomorrow but today, I want to know what everyone does when they get a new figurine. I first assemble (if it needs to be) then I give it a once over and then I check to see what underwear they are wearing! Hehe, not because I’m a pervert, just because I want to see what level of detail they have.

Scrapped Princess Limited Edition And Cosplay Wig

Today is a figurine blog, all about the figurines I want, have and am getting!

A local-ish website AWX (Anime Worx) is having a sale and I totally took advantage of it. Well, not really, it was the end of the money and I had very little money left. Still though, I got some really awesome deals.

Some of the awesomeness I acquired would be Vol 1 of the Scrapped Princess Limited Edition box set for only R80!!!! That’s about $8 and less than 8 Pounds. It comes with a Pacifica figurine and everything! I’m so excited, I can’t wait until it gets here.

 

 

I also got a Captain Cadaver figurine for R20!! And Vol 1 of the Fate/Stay night series. All my awesome goodies should be here by the end of the week.

 

On a down point however, I won’t have a camera for three weeks! Three weeks!!! My parents leave for America tomorrow and are taking the camera with them.

Meh >__< oh, and I seem to be coming down with the flu, and have to work tomorrow, even though I took the day off!

Oh, and talking about shopping I saw a really awesome wig online! That is most definitely my next purchase. Just look how awesome it is. It retails for about $55.96 so that’s around R550 for me, and it will take forever to get here, but I think it will be worth it right?

I’ll try and take photos of my goods with my boyfriends camera phone when they get here!

Toshiba Qosmio X305

SO, tonight a blog for all the avid gamers, and lanners; lugging around a pc from time to time can be quite a pain; Specially if you’re still rocking it CRT (Cathode-Ray-Tube) style or are too nervous (like me) to move your LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) around. Chances are, you have thought about getting a laptop, but know most of your favourite games won’t run smoothly on it. Saber Fate/stay night Bome figurine!

My blog tonight; as promised is about my figurine of Saber from Fate/stay night.

First of all, for those who don’t know Fate/stay night was originally an eroge visual novel game which was created by Type-moon (released Jan 2004) and then later was adapted into an anime television series in 2006. It has now been adapted into a manga series which appeared monthly in Shonen Ace magazine.

The story of Fate/stay night, kind of reminds me a bit of Fable 1, well, the beginning mostly. The story follows the lead character Shiro Emiya. Shiro looses his parents in a terrible fire and is found, left in the mostly destroyed city by a man who decides to raise him.

The story carries on including topics such as mages and the holy grail; then Saber comes into the story. Saber turns out to be Shiro’s servant. One of the best servants out of the whole bunch (Archer, Beserker, Lancer, Assassin, Caster, Saber and Rider)

Watch the anime, play the game or read the manga to get a better idea, that’s just a rough outline.

The reason I bought my Saber figurine isn’t because I had watched the anime, or even seen Saber before but when  I saw Saber on that windowsill I just knew I had to have her.  She is a normal typical height figurine but her detail is amazing. She comes with two swords which are actually rather pointy (ouch!)

I love her skirt the most I think. It’s three layers, the petticoat, the skirt and battle armour on top. Her hair is tied up in a cute bun and she looks ready to cleanly slice my head off!

Gift's Saber

For those of you who read my blog post yesterday would have seen my screenshots from Perfect World. If you look at the first picture you will see my characater/avatar and how she has that beautiful blue hair.

Well, not too long ago, I actually had my hair that colour! Bright beautiful blue! I wish I put my hair in the style below before it faded out! I’ve had my hair red, blue and purple. It’s back to normal now but how I miss my crazy stand-out-from-the-crowd hair!

Now, to figurines – Saber from Fate/Stay night. She is one of the most interesting figurines I’ve seen for a long time. I just love how many variations of the character there are, by different artists or in different outfits. I’ve even seen a rather fetching Saber French maid outfit. Wowee was that appealing!

Anyway, I’ve recently come across a new variation of Saber done by Gift which can be purchased off their website !( http://www.gift-gift.jp/product/figure_p003.html ) The detail looks amazing, I really want it!

Tomorrow I’ll show you my beautiful Saber figurine with lots of photos so you can really get a good look at her, you’re going to want to! Hehe

Perfect World MMO

Perfect World is a really good MMO that has (in the last year or so) gotten quite a bit of fan-fare and advertising. I am also pretty sure it’s huge in Malaysia and Singapore.

I started playing perfect world two years ago on the Malaysian server , I quickly fell in love with it, I played it almost every waking hour I had – I had completely lost myself, I my perfect world!

Me as a human mage getting a ride to our next destination by my "untamed" boyfriend in animal/untamed mode

There are three race choices being: - Human, Warefox (the untamed) and the winged elves. I started off with Human, which is like a mage character. The warefox would be the tank (if male) if you are a female you get to tame an animal as your pet and he tanks for you (it’s a lot of fun!) and the elves would be the healer/cleric/buffer in the team.

An epic pvp battle ensues

It’s a really well balanced game, especially now that there is a proper English server that you can play on; oh, and did I mention the best thing… It’s absolutely free to play! Yes! That’s right; you download it and play it, no monthly costs!

The story line is also pretty cool, it goes along the lines (the short version here for you guys!) of there being one first God called Pan gu who created the world. Eventually his world had become imperfect. After he saw this, he took all his uncorrupted animals and placed them in a castle way up in the sky and flooded the world. After the flood the created the three classes to mirror his best characteristics.

A boss creature! Look at the size of that thing!

Oyasuminasai!

Evening everyone! I don’t know about you all but I’ve had quite an eventful week this week – and from what I can see now, my weekend looks pretty busy too!

A few things lined up for the blog like going shopping to buy some make-up for a demonstration on some make-up tips for the girls and a new figurine to review. I also want to take a walk in the mountains to see how much damage the fires did, maybe I will even post some photos of that up on my blog as well!

Kasumi from DOA - Bome figurine

Konnichiwa!
Phew, what a day! Last night / this morning I was evacuated because of a fire just up the road! I’ve spent most of the day repacking my stuff ! Rest assure, that’s not going to stop me blogging, today, as per promised I have a few photos of Kasumi from dead or alive and the Japanese word of the day! So lets get started!

Kasumi is one fiery hot ninja girl who happens to be badass in the Mugen Tenshin syle of Ninjutsu. Kusumi was actually supposed to become the 18th mast of the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Clan but she decided to join Dead or Alive instead to avenge her brothers honour. However, because she left her clan she became a nukenin which means she was like a deserter and had to be weary of her past allies finding her. If you watch the Dead or Alive movie, the first scenes depict the story very well.

The Bome figurine I have has Kasumi in her signature pose, in a white outfit with red trimming and detail. Her hair is loose and her wakizashi blade is sheathed on her back. This figurine is one of three out of the Kasumi Bome collection, where you can get her in blue and black as well. Black being a special limited edition version.

The detail and level of quality on this figurine is beautiful, specially her hair. Why don’t you take a look for yourself though!
